I hope everyone is having a nice Holiday season. Mine has been pretty rough, because my mom passed away a year and a half ago. But Christmas was pretty nice. I've got a lot going on lately, artistically: I've gotten into acrylic painting and now I'm going to check out Prismacolor pencil drawing. So that's my plan for the next couple months. Wish me luck!

Well I made a rather depressing discovery today, after resizing some images for a client. I got to thinking about the print resolution for my digital paintings, and I realized, to my horror, that I haven't been changing to a good print resolution, and they are ALL at the default 72dpi. OUCH!! So if I change it to 150 or 300dpi to print, it'll cut way down on the print size. CRAP!! Haha oh well, now I am very clear on that subject. I'm looking for some kind of plugin or fix, but I don't think there is one.

Well October is finally here, along with the fall weather! I've got my house mostly decorated for Halloween, but still have a few things to put out. I'll start my baking in a couple days. As soon as I finish this digital portrait I'm working on, I'm going to switch over to my Halloween projects. Looking forward to those. Included in those will be a digital portrait of the infamous Bela Lugosi. Stay tuned!

Well, summer is a little more than half over, and I can't help but think of fall just a little bit. It's my favorite time of year, and of course it contains Halloween Going to have to get my Halloween projects planned soon. I also think I may have discovered why I've felt like such crap the last four or five years. I think I have a hormone imbalance. Getting my levels checked today, so hopefully this helps. Gotta get back to some drawing. Haven't done any in a few weeks.

My week is moving along ok. My two current art projects are moving along nicely, and I hope to post the first of them by my birthday, June 17th. Wish me luck! I also just upgraded to a premium account on here, so I'm testing out some new widgets
